A beautiful ancient Greek figure in many variants (pendant, keychain, earring, etc).
In this figure, dated ca. 490 - 470 B.C., Athena serves Hercules wine from an jug. She holds a spear and a small owl, and wears the snake-trimmed aegis cloak. Her helmet rests behind her on a low plinth. Hercules wears a lion-skin cape, holds a drinking cup (kylix) and has a gnarled club resting at his side.
